ABOUT CANADA'S WORLD

A project of the SFU Centre for Dialogue, Canada's World was a three-year citizens' dialogue that engaged Canadians in developing a new story for Canada's role in the world.

In the first two years of our project, we brought Canadians together for conversations on the issues that define the current global environment - issues that provide both opportunities and challenges for Canadians. We then focused on how to share the results of those conversations and how to implement changes based on the priorities you gave us.

Unlike traditional processes and consultations led by government, this project was funded by individuals, businesses, international organizations and foundations who wanted to inspire citizens to write a new story for Canada.
