Torey Hampson
Community Outreach Intern

From a very young age Torey has committed herself to various causes by canvassing for donations and spreading the word. She is very excited to be representing Canada's World in outreach and communications work. Torey loves to travel and is passionate about local culture, in particular events focused on creative expression and the arts. Torey is currently volunteering at Gallery Gachet working towards the education and demystification of issues related to mental health. Supporting the examination of internal mental processes and interaction with the outside world, Torey commits to promoting Gallery Gachet's dissident Downtown Eastside artists as they develop leadership skills and coping methods. Torey grew up in Mississauga, ON and moved to Vancouver for university, where she studies Liberal Arts courses with a focus on Communications in Dialogue, Philosophy and the Arts.
