Talar Sahakian

Talar Sahakian is a master's student in International Relations in her final semester at the University of Montreal. Her main areas of interest are international developmental economics and the struggle for human rights and equality worldwide. This was made clear to her during her internship with the Institute for Democracy and Human Rights in 2008. Always interested in gaining a broader perspective, Talar has lived abroad in several countries and is now fluent in 5 languages. Upon obtaining her MA, she hopes to be able to work in diplomacy in order to contribute to peaceful relations across the globe.
