Priya
Shantha Priya Morley
Priya is an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, where she studies International Relations. She has experience volunteering in Vancouver, including tutoring children in an inner city Vancouver school with the UBC Learning Exchange Program and working as a Page for the UBC Model United Nations. In addition, as a high school student in Victoria, Priya was an active member of her school's Service Council. In this capacity, Priya fundraised money for a Tibetan Orphanage that she became acquainted with while visiting the Basic Human Needs Project in the Tibet Autonomous Region. Priya has had the good fortune to travel extensively, particularly in South-East Asia. She spent a year on exchange at the University of Melbourne, and has participated in the La Maison Française French immersion program at the University of Victoria as well as studying French at the Paris School of the Alliance Française. She also has a keen interest in the Spanish language, which she has studied to the Advanced Placement level. After completing her Bachelor's degree, Priya hopes to study human rights or international law. Priya is very interested in international issues and how they relate to Canadian foreign policy, and is excited to be working with Canada's World!
