Lily Rodina
Project Assistant

Lily is a second year communications student at Simon Fraser University. She is interested in photography, mixed media art, art history and philosophy. She is currently volunteering as a Career Peer and event organizer in the Peer programs. In the past her volunteer activities were concentrated in various student clubs, events and conferences. Her favourite volunteer experience was being a photographer at the Foreign Policy Camp.

Outside her academic life, Lily was involved with BC Immigrant Services society, helping new immigrants to become familiar with, and adapt easier to the local culture. Her contribution to the community is most noticeable in Couchsurfing.Com organization, where she is taking an active role integrating and expanding the Vancouver CS group. At this moment Lily decided to stretch her volunteer support all the way to Nepal. Together with her sister she is leading a fundraising campaign for sustainable development in Nepal.
