Leah Marchuk

Leah Marchuk holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.  She currently works as Project Coordinator for the GLOBE Foundation, helping to organize an international conference on business and the environment.  She has also worked for the Canadian International Development Agency, as a Policy Assistant on Governance, and as a Communications Officer for the Department of National Defence.   Last year, Leah was the student Chair of the Haiti Panel at the UBC Failed, Failing, and Fragile states conference, and also organized a gala dinner for landmine awareness during her time at UBC.  She previously studied at Queen's University's International Study Centre in the United Kingdom.
