Adriana
Adriana Miljkovic worked as a Researcher/Writer with Canada’s World through the summer of 2007. Adriana’s position was made possible by a grant from the Simons Foundation. Adriana is pursuing her Masters in International Relations at L’Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lille, France. She has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of British Columbia and a Certificate of Political Science from L’ Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble, France. Adriana is fluent in English, French, Serbo-Croat, and Slovak. She has a background and keen interest in conflict management and human security issues. Adriana has worked as a volunteer with the Human Security Centre of the Liu Centre, a research assistant at the Centre for Intercultural Communication (CIC) at UBC, an international trade administrative assistant with Eastern Commerical Enterprises and as student orientation leader with Gala International Student Orientation Go Global programme. Over the summer, Adriana assisted in the development of the content for the website and the dialogue handbook.
