Jacqueline Koerner

 

Jacqueline Koerner is the founding and current Chair of Ecotrust Canada. She has an extensive background in philanthropy and the non-profit sector. Her background includes employment with both Vancouver Foundation, Vancouver, BC as a Program Director and Calmeadow Foundation, Toronto, ON as a Program Officer. In addition, Ms. Koerner has worked as an independent consultant for projects in Canada, the USA and overseas, in the field of micro-enterprise development.

Ms. Koerner served as a founding board member of BC Women’ Hospital Foundation and was the founding President of the Vancouver Child Study Centre. Ms. Koerner is a board member of Ecotrust, Portland, OR and of The Koerner Foundation, Toronto, ON. Ms. Koerner earned a MA in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School on International Affairs in 1984, and a BA Honours in Geography from Queen’ University in Kingston, Ontario in 1982.
