Luc Juillet is the director of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Ottawa. Luc holds a Ph.D. in public policy from Carleton University. Before undertaking his doctoral work, he was a parliamentary intern, and then the executive assistant to a Member of Parliament, at the House of Commons of Canada. He joined the University of Ottawa as an assistant professor in 2000. In recent years, he also worked as a consultant for several public organizations, including the Treasury Board Secretariat, the Canadian International Development Agency, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. He was Associate Director of the School of Political Studies from 2004 to 2005. In 2005-06, he was a scholar in residence at the Public Service Commission of Canada. He has been a member of the executive of the Quebec Political Science Association since 2002 and he is currently a vice-president of the Aid to Scholarly Publishing Program of the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and the Social Sciences.
