Canada's World Documents
Hi again!
Scroll over the small blue arrows beside each docment to access the fly-out menu, then do what you need to do! Upload a document by clicking on the "Add Document" button at the top. It's that simple! But please adhere to the following conventions:
1. Descriptive titles - If the title doesn't already include a reference to Canada's World, please start it with CW. Also, tell us what the document is - for example, "CW Campus Activity Brief" is preferable to "Overview."
2. Adhere to our style. Use the header that's here, or the letterhead if you're writing a letter. Main title is in Georgia, underlined. Sub-titles are in Georgia Small Caps (preferably in dark red). The rest of the text is in Arial, 12 pt.
3. When you work on a document here, please check it out by selecting "Check Out" from the fly out menu. This lets us all know that someone else is currently working on that document. Please work on the current draft rather than starting a new one. Don't toy with the "Versions" options.
4. If you are working on a document that isn't ready for public consumption, save it with your initials at the end when you are done working on it. Make sure to check it back in when done. We know it's ready for the public when it says RYSS at the end. It's not pretty but it's effective.
5. Final drafts then get those ugly initials axed from the ends of their titles, and we add the date instead in DD/MM/YY format. Any document that has that at the end is ready for the public to enjoy!
Adhering to these conventions secures Reilly's eternal admiration. Deviating from them results in a pin in the thumb of my voodoo doll of you.
Thanks!
Reilly
