Canada's World is a collaborative project between 15 universities and over 40 organizations with one big goal -- to engage Canadians in an ongoing conversation about what we'd like our nation's role in the world to look like.

For the past 3 years, Canada's World has traveled across the country, holding deliberative citizens' dialogue sessions and events in each province and recording your opinions. Our discussions have brought Canadians of all backgrounds together to share their dreams for the future of Canadian foreign policy.

These discussions allow us, together, to finally put Canada Back on the Map by sharing a new story about a bolder, more responsible nation in the world.

FEBRUARY: This month, we want you to enter our Hearts of Canada Contest -- you could win $100 in the process! To enter, watch our new YouTube video about Canada's role in the world and then leave a comment about your thoughts. At the end of the month we will randomly choose 6 commenters to get a $100 or a 'rethink foreign policy' t-shirt! Let the discussions begin - click on the image to the left for more details about this participation- based contest.

DECEMBER: The Director of Canada's World, Shauna Sylvester, was at the Copenhagen climate talks this month -- and she published her thoughts live each day with us via the Canada's World blog and The Mark. Click for in-depth, personal coverage of Copenhagen's COP 15 talks from the ground -- the details, the people, the imagery and the experiences.

NOVEMBER: A BIG thank you to those who attended ForeignPolicyCamp on Nov 30th -- the atmosphere was amazing, with over 400 Canadians in person and 200 watching virtually. See the results of the camp (including reports from each session, photos, video footage and online discussions) as they come in here!
